Tim Cook is the owner and principal officer of The Cook Company, LLC, formerly The Albert T. T. Cook Company. He is a financial advisor and licensed insurance producer in the state of Colorado. He joined The Albert T. T. Cook Company in 2011 out of a desire to build on the legacy of success that his father established in helping clients meet their financial goals. With the rebranding of the firm to The Cook Company, LLC in January 2025, Tim is thrilled to lead those efforts moving forward. Tim became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner in April 2025.
A type-A planner (seriously, next summer is already planned), Tim has set goals and worked to make them reality from an early age. When he was in middle school he concocted a plan to travel to France to visit a friend for three weeks and attend French Scout camp, negotiating with his parents how much of his ticket he needed to pay for himself. After working numerous babysitting jobs and earning his share of the ticket, the trip became a reality (future cost-sharing negotiations with his parents failed).
It is this ability to project forward and work toward a desired outcome that makes working for The Cook Company the perfect fit. Tim is a great listener, eager to understand client goals and aspirations and working with them to make those visions reality.
A Colorado native, Tim enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading history books and spy novels, participating in trail running and obstacle course races, and partaking in the Colorado outdoors through camping, backpacking, and skiing. He is an Eagle Scout. He and his wife, Christina Kwon, have two sons, Theodore and Gabriel.
